Official web site of Swedish electro pop person Tor Bruce.
While you’re waiting - Monday, August 28th 06
While you’re waiting for an official Tor Bruce release, you can keep your ears busy with some new music from another project of mine - Utz utz utz utz. Bevlar is an internet label that focuses on electronic music, and today this new project of mine premieres there. The song is called Jasmin et des Jonquilles and is a jarring french tongue-twister-techno-track. Best of all, it’s a FREE DOWNLOAD! Whew!
If you’re more into pop music though, I can tell you that the wait for the debut under my own name isn't long now...
Downloadable radio interview - Sunday, July 23rd 06
If you missed the interview with me yesterday, you can listen to it on P3 Lab's homepage (in Swedish, sorry). It will only be up this week though.
Finally! - Monday, July 3rd 06
I’m launching the new torbruce.com website at last, after roughly a year of delusive near-complete cyber-inactivity. And I have a lot to tell you about!
First of all, it looks like my debute solo release is going to happen this fall. I’m not sure exactly what it will be yet, but probably an EP or something similar. Very exciting! I will of course post more details on this later.
Second, I’ve started performing live. My stage debute was in April, on a mini tour with the nice guys in Slagsmålsklubben. There are some pictures from one of the gigs in the pictures section of this website. If you would like to book me for a gig or something, don’t hesitate to contact me!
I also have a few remix projects started, and I’ve found that I really enjoy remixing, so the same applies here; if you would like me to remix something, don’t be afraid to ask. I’ll post more info on the remixes I’m making when they’re made official.
Last but not least, if you’re in Sweden, you should try to find a radio on July 22nd and tune in on P3 Lab (20:03 - 21:00), which will feature an interview with me plus two previously-almost-never-released-tracks by me. They’re kickin so you’re definitely gonna wanna hear it!
Happy summer!
Army of me remixes and covers
The first record ever to feature a Tor Bruce track. Björk wanted people all over the world to remix or cover her old track Army of me, she got 600 submissions from which 20 tracks were selected, with my instrumental cover being one of them. The record was released spring 2005 and all the money went directly to Unicef for tsunami related charity. The website for the record has short excerpts from all tracks, including mine, which The Times called ‘one of the best’.
Yesterdjur, yestermir, yesterday

Info on Tor Bruce
Tor Bruce is a 19-year-old boy from Göteborg, Sweden (Göteborg is pronounced ‘Yutheboori’, a.k.a Gothenburg) who makes pop music with synthesizers, drum machines and computers. For more info, I encourage you to ask me in the hello section.
About this website
This website was designed and handcoded by myself from scratch (the code ain’t pretty, I’m telling you). Made on a Macintosh. Some scripts are based on bits of different JavaScripts which I have adapted for my purposes, unfortunately I have since long forgotten most of the sources... though the collapse functionality was based on a script by this guy.
There are a few minor things on this website that won’t look quite right if you use Internet Explorer (mostly cosmetic issues, but still) - I’ve really tried my best to make it work, but it just doesn’t, so please don’t blame me; blame Microsoft (or blame yourself for using their lousy browser).
